We are committed to protecting your privacy. Chell is designed with privacy as a core principle—we use end-to-end encryption so that we cannot access your code, prompts, or conversations.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

Due to our end-to-end encryption architecture, we cannot access:

• Your code or files
• Your prompts or conversations with AI agents
• Your API keys for third-party services
• The content of your terminal sessions
• Any data synced between your devices

This data is encrypted on your device before transmission and can only be decrypted by your other authenticated devices.

3. Information We Collect

We collect limited information necessary to provide and improve our services:

Account Information

• Email address (for account creation and communication)
• Device identifiers (to enable multi-device sync)

Usage Analytics

• App version and platform (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android)
• Feature usage statistics (which features are used, not the content)
• Crash reports and error logs (without sensitive data)
